This property was a former family-run restaurant business over the ground and lower ground floors with residential accommodation.
Purchased via auction, we saw the opportunity to find a vibrant new tenant for the restaurant space, whilst the residential upper parts were in need of extensive modernisation.
As soon as planning permission had been secured, we reconfigured the spacious five-bedroom maisonette to create four bespoke apartments as well as a penthouse apartment offering direct sea views. The residential accommodation had not been refurbished for a number of years and it was imperative to deliver high end apartments in central Hove to achieve private lettings.
In delivering this, we fitted the 220 sq ft studios with soft oak flooring and LED-type inset spot lighting throughout, and installed each with a Clerk Gloss White handleless kitchen with white glass effect square-edged worktops, creating a clean and modern feel.
Works took a total of two months to complete and the flats were instantly let, along with the commercial space to a separate tenant, on completion in October 2018.
